At the height of Covid-19 came in the wave of Anti-Asian hate in which both heavily impacted Philadelphia's Chinatown financially and safety. The Philadelphia Chinatown Development Corporation (PCDC) reached out for their campaign idea: #AiLoveChinatown.
Our goal was to boost community morale and show what does it mean to love and protect our Chinatown, especially for our small family owned businesses.
The campaign existed through numerous evergreen collateral, but to proudly note, it generated over $2000 worth of donations from merchandise sales. The funds were used to give back to Chinatown businesses by providing them PPE supplies and any financial aid.
The logo takes on the iconic Friendship Arch with a silly play on words. "Ài" or "Love" is centered in the arch indicating we're in the heart of Chinatown
